John 3:16-17 (ESV) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him."

I. INTRODUCTION
1. In the creation story, humanity is created on the ‘Sixth day,’ representing the culmination of God’s work. This emphasizes the special connection between mankind and the divine.
2. In Gen. 1:27, the Bible says,“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” On the sixth day, God creates land animals and then crowns His creation with the formation of humanity. This day underscores the unique role and responsibility of humankind as stewards of the earth. The ‘Six days of creation’ illustrate God’s deliberate organization and order in bringing forth the physical world. Each day represents a distinct step in the process of creation.
3. It is also essential to understand that although the formation of humanity was on the ‘Sixth day,’ along with the land animals, this number in the Kingdom of God symbolizes man’s ‘Weakness,’ the Evil of Satan, and the Manifestation of Sin. See, in the Jewish community, the number ‘SIX’ had a sinister meaning, as ‘SEVEN’ is a ‘SACRED’ number, ‘SIX’ fell short of it and failed. Can I get a witness? Somebody! The number ‘SIX’ was the charge that met defeat, with success just in its grasp. It could be great but failed to measure up. Listen to this: the ‘SIX’ was to the Jewish community. What is the number ‘Thirteen’ insignificant for some of us today? You know how some of us feel about the number ‘Thirteen.
4. Now, this next point you should find quite interesting. Maybe you do not dread the number ‘Thirteen’ because of Jason and all the “Friday the 13th “Halloween" movies. Maybe you dread it because in your ‘spiritual consciousness, ’ the Holy Spirit informs your Spirit that there were ‘Thirteen’ who sat around the table during the "Night of Passover" to break bread with HIM, and one of them would betray the Master.
5. Just Maybe, the Holy Spirit is informing your Spirit that from that room one man was to commit the ‘Blackest’ ACT in history, while another man, in the form of the Son of God would make the ‘Supreme’ sacrifice of history! I’m just saying, maybe that’s the reason you feel some way about hearing the number ‘Thirteen. Check this out: "Thirteen" symbolizes ‘Rebellion and Depravity. At the same time, Six is the Manifestation of Satan and Evil! It took a ‘Depraved’ mind in a ‘Weak’ man to ‘Rebell’ against all his ‘Teaching’ to sit in plain sight, amongst "Thirteen Disciples" to betray the Son of God, implementing God’s plan for His son to be ‘Sacrificed to ‘Save’ humanity, which was the number ‘Seven,” ‘Completions of the ‘Redemption’ plan. ‘Thirteen’ (Rebellion and Depravity) minus (-) ‘Six’ (Man’ weakness, Evil of Satan, and the Manifestation of Sin) equals (=) ‘SEVEN” (the COMPLETION of God plan for Redemption). It's just something for you to think about. Amen! Somebody! Victory is our saith the Lord!
6. Let me leave you with Rom.8-36-39 36, “For your sake, we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
II. Other Symbolisms of the Number Six
Other Symbolisms of the Number Six
1. In Gen. 1-24-31, God appointed the days of labor to be ‘SIX.’ The TEXT says, 31: “Then God looked
over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed, and morning came,
marking the sixth day.”
2. In Ex. 24:15-18, Moses was ‘compelled’ to wait ‘SIX’ days on the Mount before God revealed Himself.
The Text says, “On the seventh day, the Lord called to Moses from inside the cloud.”
3. In Ex. 20:8-11, the Hebrew slaves served for “Six” years. The Text says, “Remember to observe the
Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the
seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day, no one in your
household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female
servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you.” In Daniel 31:20, King Nebuchadnezzar
erected a ‘Golden Image’ typical of himself and commanded the rulers and people to fall down and
‘Worship’ is the image of him measuring ‘SIXTY’ cubits high and ‘SIXTY’ cubits inches broad (or wide).
The Evil of Satan
In Genesis 1:12, Genesis 2:21-24, and Genesis 3:15, the Number ‘SIX’ is also connected with Satan’s influence over man. The ‘SIXTH’ character in the Bible is the ‘Serpent,’ which represents Satan. The first ‘SIX’ in the Word are the ‘TRINITY’: (3) Adam (4), Eve, (5), and the Serpent (6), Genesis 1:1-2; John 1:1-2; Genesis 2:21-24; Genesis 3:1-15).
2. In Rev. 12:9 and Rev. 20:2, the ‘Serpent’ is called the Devil and Satan. In Rev. 12:9, the Text says, “This
great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil or Satan. “[4] and Rev. 20:2 says, 2 “He seized
the dragon—that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan—and bound him in chains for a thousand
years.”
3. In Matt. 4:1-11, In Matthew’s account of the temptation of Jesus by the Devil, the word “Devil.”
It ccurs Four times, the word ‘TEMPER’ One time and the word ‘Satan’ One time, making ‘SIX’ in all.
4. In Luke 4:1-13, Luke’s account of the same, the word ‘Devil’ occurs five times, and ‘Satan’ occurs
once, making it ‘SIX’ in all.
5. In Mark 3:22-23, when Jesus was ‘ACCUSED’ of casting out devils by Beelzebub, the ‘prince’ of devils,
he “HOW---CAN---SATAN---CAST---OUT---SATAN? These are ‘SIX’ words connected to Satan. Am I
‘Right’ about it?
In John 9:15, Chief Priests ‘REJECTED’ Jesus as their king by replying to Pontus Pilate with ‘SIX’ words, “WE—HAVE—NO—KING—BUT—CAESAR.”
III. Other Symbolisms of the Number Six
7. In Rev. 20:1-8, on the ‘SIXTH’ time, the expression Thousand Years is mentioned; it is CONNECTED
to Satan. It occurs in verses 7-8, the Text says, "And when the ‘Thousand Years’ are expired Satan
shall be loosed out of prison and shall go out to ‘DECEIVE’ the nations which are in the ‘Four
Quarters’ of the earth.’
8. In Gal.5:19-21 (KJV), the ‘Words of the Flesh’ given by Paul, the ‘SIXITH” word is ‘WITCHCRAFT.’ The Text says, 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: 1. adultery, 2. fornication, 3. uncleanness, 4. lasciviousness, 5. idolatry, 6. witchcraft (**), 7. hatred, 8. variance, 9. emulations, 10. wrath, 11. strife, 12. Seditions (insurrection), 13. heresies, 14. envying,
15. murders, 16. drunkenness, 17. revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
9. In 1 Samuel 17:4-8, as Goliath ‘Challenged” the ‘Armies of Israel, he had ‘SIX PIECES’ of equipment in his armor. They were: 1. Helmet of brass on his head. 2. A coat of mail made of brass. 3. Greaves of brass on his legs (defensive like a shin guard from the knee to the foot). 4. A target of brass (a corset form in the shape of a spear) between his shoulders. 5. A spear. And 6. A shield. This is ‘’Symbolic of the Armor of Satan!’
10. In 1 Samuel 17:10-45, David took' FIVE Smooth Stones when he went out to meet Goliath.’ We should all get excited about the ‘Simplicity and Intentionality’ of God’s grace, for we witnessed God’s Grace (in the ‘FIVE’ stones), over Satan and man. He did it in Ancient Times and is doing it for you today!
In Numbers 11:4-5, the Israelites were ‘LUSTING’ after ‘SIX’ things in the Wilderness:”
1. Fish, which they ate feely in Egypt. 2. Cucumbers, 3. Melons. 4. Leeks, 5. Onions, 6. Garlic
12. In I John 3:8, the Bible ‘ILLUMINATIONS’ of the ‘Son of God ‘DESTROYING’ the works of the Devil:
a. The ‘FIRST’ statement is ‘MANIFEST’ in the ‘FLESH.’ ‘ONE’ stands for ‘UNITY.’ Jesus declares His ONENESS with His Father, which stirs up the crowd of the opposition by saying in John 10:31,
“I and my Father are ONE.” Then the Jews took up stones to Him. The Jews considered this
‘Blasphemy’ against God. For Jesus, this was a ‘TESTIMONY,’ that He and His Father are ONE.
b. The SECOND Statement is ‘Justified in the Spirit.” Jesus is ‘JUSTIFIED’ and received the Holy
Spirit in John 12:34-35. The text says, “I knew not: but that sent to ‘BAPTIZE’ with water, the same
said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and ‘REMAINING on Him, the
same is He that baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw and bare ‘RECORD’ that this is the Son
of God.”
IV. Other Symbolisms of the Number Six
In Matthew 4:11, the Bible ‘bears a record of the Union of the ‘Son of God’ and the Holy Spirit. The ‘DESCENT’ of the Holy Spirit in visible form, like unto a ‘DOVE,’ singled out Jesus and ‘SEPARATED’ Him from all others as the ‘ONE’ who is the Son of God. This is the ‘FIRST’ time in the history of the world that the Holy Spirit found a lodging place upon the earth.
Before this, the Holy Spirit ‘Came and Return to God’ but ‘NOW’ He ‘COMES and REMAIN’ upon Christ. Thus, the Spirit is ‘JUSTIFIED’ His claim as being the ‘Son of God.’ You should know that ‘Number TWO’ is for ‘DIVISION and DEAPARATION. After this, He ‘OVERCAME’ the tempting of the devil in the wilderness.
The Third Statement is ‘Seen’ of Angles.’ Three is the ‘Number of God.’ The Divine number as we have learned already. We know from our previous discussions that it is always associated with the ‘Godhead,’ in CREATION and RESURRECTION. Furthermore, on the morning of our Lord’s RESURRECTION the angels of God were at the tomb and ‘testified’ to His ‘RESURRECTION’:
a. Matt. 28:2-6 (NLT) says, 2 Suddenly there was a great earthquake! An angel of the Lord came
down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it. 3 His face shone like lightning, and his
clothing was as white as snow. 4 The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell
into a dead faint. 5 Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know
you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as
he said would happen.”
b. Luke 24:2-6 (NLT) says, “2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
3 So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 As they stood there puzzled,
two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. 5 The women were terrified and
bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the
dead for someone who is alive? 6 He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead!
The FOURTH Statement is “PREACH unto the GENTILES.” After His ‘RESURRECTION,’ He was ‘PREACHED’ unto the GENTILES.’ The Number ‘FOUR’ symbolizes the WORLD and the ‘Lost Man’ in the World. ‘FOUR’ is REPRESENTATIVE of man’s ‘Natural’ state in this world. Here, in the FOURTH statement, it says, “ Christ was ‘PREACHED’ unto the GENTILES.” This proves that it is a ‘NECESSARY’ Gospel everywhere there is a lost man, woman, or child.
The FIFTH statement is “BELIEVED on in this world.” The Number ‘FIVE’ symbolizes ‘GRACE.’ When ONE ‘BELIEVED’ in Christ, he is “SAVED by GRACE” in every movement. When we read Ephesians 2:8, 8, “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” [1] NOTICE: Nothing is said about ‘BAPTISM’ in this statement. However, Rom. 5:2 (NLT) points out, “Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”[2] If we ‘BELIEVE,’ we are SAVED by HIS GRACE!
This ‘SIXTH’ statement is: “He was ‘RECEIVED’ Up to GLORY!” See, you did not get anything tonight! Get this: He died for your sins and was ‘RECEIVED’ up to GLORY! And ‘YOU” have been SAVED! In Ephesians 1:20-21, Paul tells us about Christ being ‘Raised’ from the Dead,’ SET at the Right hand in the heavenly places, far above all ‘PRINCIPALITY, and ‘POWER’ and ‘MIGHT’ and ‘DOMINION.’ Apostle Paul makes it ‘PLAIN’ that the ‘PRINCIPALITY’ AND ‘POWER’ here is the Devil and his influence. But Christ has ‘ACSENDED’ to the Right hand of the ‘THRONE’ in the WAY ST. Community, the Kingdom of God!
Amen! Somebody!
